The Golden Hour

Capturing The Warmth of Light

The short window of time right after sunrise and right before sunset, where the positioning of the sun in the sky makes the light warmer, softer and more dimensional, is often referred to as golden hour. Although it’s called golden hour - it’s not always a full hour, as where you live, the time of year and the weather will play into how long it lasts. There is a reason that golden hour is also fondly known as the magic hour, because most photographers know how the light can transform a picture - turning it from ordinary to an extraordinary storytelling image. Join me as I share my tips & tricks on making images glow and add magical depth.
